Senior Open Ranking: Mens Greco-Roman Wrestling Concludes, Womens Knockout Rounds Underway

Gonda, May 12: The Senior Open Ranking Tournament 2026 concluded the men’s Greco-Roman wrestling events on Tuesday. Held at Nandininagar College, this tournament featured athletes competing in ten weight categories to finalize their domestic rankings.

With the medal winners in the Greco-Roman category decided, attention now shifts to the women’s competitions, where athletes are advancing through the knockout stages to secure their national rankings.

The women’s wrestling events have also reached the final stages of the knockout rounds. In the 57-kilogram category, Kajal Chaudhary triumphed over Muskaan in the quarter-finals. She will now face Shivani, who advanced by defeating Suhani. Meanwhile, Reena overcame Nisha Saini and will compete against Hansika Lamba in the semi-finals.

In the pre-quarter-finals of the 65-kilogram category, Dishun defeated Ankita Kumar, Janhvi bested Tanu, Sneha overcame Ritu, and Diksha Sheor won against Sonam Singh to secure spots in the quarter-finals. The competition in the 76-kilogram category has reached the final four, confirming a semi-final match between Ishita Chaudhary and Meghna.
