
Mumbai, March 6: The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has requested information from Force Motors Limited regarding its past financial results and stock activities during February 2024.
In a regulatory filing, the company revealed that SEBI sent an email on February 4, 2026, asking for details on the unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter and half-year ending September 30, 2024.
These results were initially announced on October 29, 2024. SEBI specifically requested a chronology of events related to the announcement of income results.
The regulator also sought information from the company regarding insiders, the Management Information System (MIS), designated individuals, and a portion of its structured digital database.
The Pune-based automobile manufacturer stated that it has not identified any irregularities or non-compliance concerning the issues raised by the regulator.
Furthermore, the company expressed that it does not anticipate any significant impact on its financial operations due to this inquiry.
Following the disclosure, the company’s shares experienced volatility. Initially, the stock faced pressure, dropping over 6% during the session, but later showed signs of recovery.
Ultimately, Force Motors’ shares closed at ₹21,815, reflecting an increase of ₹365 or 1.70%. However, the stock has seen considerable fluctuations in recent weeks.
In the past week, Force Motors shares have fallen by 14.21%, while a decline of nearly 9% was noted over the last two weeks.
On a monthly basis, the shares have risen by 3.44%, and since the beginning of the year, there has been a 4.85% increase.
Over the last three months, the stock has appreciated by approximately 27%, and a 23% increase has been recorded over the past six months.
In the long term, the shares have provided substantial returns to investors, with a 193% increase in price over the past year and around 240% return over the last two years.
Remarkably, in the past three years, the stock price has surged by nearly 1,640%.
