Sanjay Raut Welcomes Nitish Kumars Move to Rajya Sabha

Mumbai, April 14: Sanjay Raut, a leader of Shiv Sena (UBT), expressed that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will join the Rajya Sabha after resigning from his position. This move will elevate him to the status of a national leader. With this development, many are left wondering who will take over as the Chief Minister of Bihar after Kumar.

In a conversation with reporters on Tuesday, Raut noted that despite the time elapsed, there is still no consensus on the next Chief Minister of Bihar. He emphasized that, regardless of the circumstances, they respect Nitish Kumar. “He is coming to the Rajya Sabha and will sit with us. Undoubtedly, he is a senior leader, and we will benefit from his guidance,” Raut stated.

Additionally, Raut commented on the I-PAC controversy, asserting that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has acted with ill intent. “Everyone in West Bengal is busy preparing for the elections, yet the ED has targeted opponents of the BJP,” he remarked.

Raut confidently claimed that no matter what opinions are expressed, Mamata Banerjee will emerge victorious in West Bengal. “The political situation in the state is entirely in her favor,” he added.

He raised concerns about citizens being denied their voting rights, questioning why this is happening and demanding answers.

Raut also addressed the issue of corruption in Maharashtra. He criticized the current state of affairs, where playgrounds meant for children are being converted into five-star hotels by Eknath Shinde. “If the ED is to conduct raids, they should focus on such matters,” he argued.

He warned that if this trend continues, even historic sites like Shivaji Park may be targeted for hotel developments.

Regarding a letter he sent to the Chief Minister, Raut explained it was prompted by the environmental damage caused by mine owners in Vidarbha.
