Patna: In an effort to bridge the gap between citizens and their representatives, the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) has initiated regular public hearings at the offices of its legislators. On Tuesday, Sambitpur Lok Sabha MP Shambhavi Chaudhary led a public hearing in Sambitpur, where residents presented their grievances directly to her.
A large number of people from the Sambitpur constituency attended the session to raise concerns primarily related to water supply, roads, and electricity. Speaking during the event, MP Shambhavi Chaudhary highlighted that rural communities often find it difficult to communicate their issues to elected officials. To address this, the party has established public forums at its offices where citizens can submit written complaints or express their problems verbally.
Chaudhary also noted that the NDA government has secured a strong majority in the recent assembly elections and is accelerating development work across Bihar. She credited the public’s trust in the party and recalled instructions from the party’s national president, Chirag Paswan, directing senior leaders, including MPs and MLAs, to hold weekly public hearings. These sessions aim to facilitate direct dialogue with the people and ensure that their concerns are promptly addressed.
According to a post shared on the party’s social media platform X, MP Shambhavi Chaudhary listened to complaints from residents across various parts of the state during the public hearing held at the Bihar state office. She subsequently instructed the relevant officials to take swift action. The event was also attended by Ved Prakash, the leader of the legislative and parliamentary party, and Ashraf Ansari, the acting state president of the party.
