Rudraprayag, September 12 (Daily Kiran) : District Magistrate Vishal Mishra announced that over 150 books have been collected for a new library in Rudraprayag, thanks to contributions from local representatives, officials, and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. A comprehensive list of these books has been prepared, and they will soon be organized within the library.
The initiative aims to create a supportive environment for students, enhancing their study experience and aiding in preparation for competitive exams. Mishra noted that the book donation campaign has brought in a variety of subjects, particularly in humanities and spirituality. However, there is a pressing need for more resources specifically tailored to competitive exam preparation.
To address this gap, the administration is actively seeking input from students regarding which books they believe are essential for the library. A list of requested titles is being compiled, and the administration is currently sorting through the donated books to match them with student needs. For any necessary competitive exam resources that have not been donated, plans are underway to purchase these books.
Mishra emphasized that while the donated books will be included in the library, the primary goal remains to meet the specific needs of students. He reiterated that the administration will supplement the donations with purchases of essential titles. Additionally, Chief Minister Dhami has contributed around 150 books to the initiative. The administration is dedicated to establishing a library collection that not only supports academic learning but also enhances students’ preparation for competitive exams. The District Magistrate encouraged students to make the most of the available resources to strengthen their future through education.
