
Amaravati, October 6 (Daily Kiran) : The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has announced a significant recruitment drive for 166 positions across various departments. This opportunity is particularly appealing for job seekers preparing for government roles.
The available positions include 12 Deputy Collectors in the Andhra Pradesh Civil Service (Executive Branch), 14 Assistant Commissioners in the Andhra Pradesh State Tax Service, and 36 Deputy Superintendents of Police in the Andhra Pradesh Police Service, among others. Other roles consist of District Educational Officers, Regional Transport Officers, and District Tribal Welfare Officers, with various positions spread across multiple state services.
The application process commenced on October 6 and will remain open until October 27. Candidates interested in these roles can submit their applications online through the official APPSC website.
Applicants must hold a relevant degree from a recognized institution, with educational qualifications varying by position. The age criteria range from 18 to 44 years, depending on the role, with age calculated as of July 1, 2027. Relaxations in the upper age limit are available for candidates from reserved categories.
Selection will be based on a screening test, a main written examination, and a personal interview. Successful candidates can expect monthly salaries ranging from ₹54,060 to ₹1,54,980, depending on the position.
Candidates are required to pay an application fee of ₹250, with exemptions available for SC, ST, BC, PWD, and ex-servicemen applicants.
