RSS Chiefs Dialogue with Youths Highlights Key Concerns: NDA Leaders Respond

New Delhi, August 7: The recent conversation between RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat and Gen Z and Gen Alpha students has been deemed significant and timely by NDA leaders. They emphasized that Bhagwat attentively listened to the concerns of the youth and stressed the importance of dialogue in a democracy.

Bihar government minister Ramkripal Yadav praised Bhagwat’s engagement with the youth. He noted that the RSS chief made a substantial effort to understand the thoughts, concerns, and aspirations of young people.

Yadav stated, “Mohan Bhagwat engaged extensively with the youth and sought to comprehend their views and worries. I believe his comments were spot on and serve as a good example for all.”

Telangana BJP president N. Ramchander Rao also found Bhagwat’s dialogue with students and youth beneficial for society. He remarked, “Mohan Bhagwat’s interaction with the youth and students was very fruitful. His message for the entire nation was intriguing and useful. I am confident that Bhagwat’s message is very important in the current context.”

According to Ramchander Rao, Bhagwat addressed several issues during the conversation, including student movements. He mentioned that the RSS chief acknowledged the right to protest as a democratic privilege but cautioned against its misuse.

In Mumbai on Thursday, Bhagwat stated that youths involved in Gen Z movements should be considered part of society and not labeled as ‘anti-national.’ He affirmed that their concerns are valid and that there should be space for dialogue and discussion within the democratic framework.

The RSS chief remarked that today’s youth seek rational answers and meaningful dialogue rather than blind acceptance. He noted that protests can be a crucial way to express concerns in a democracy, provided they focus on constructive dialogue. However, opposition leaders criticized Bhagwat’s statements, questioning whether the government adheres to these principles.

In response, Samajwadi Party MP Avadhesh Prasad said, “He should advise his own government to heed this advice. Protests are essential in a democracy.” Prasad referenced past student protests, alleging that young people with legitimate demands faced police brutality and tear gas. He also raised concerns about the challenges faced by students and youth across the country.
