Chhindwara, August 7: In Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has launched the ‘Public Trust Campaign‘ aimed at resolving common citizens’ issues. Speaking in Chhindwara on Friday, he announced that state officials will now engage with the public every Friday instead of remaining in their offices. This initiative is designed to directly address the concerns of citizens and ensure their swift resolution.
CM Yadav emphasized the significance of starting the campaign in Chhindwara. Under this initiative, officials will leave their offices every Friday to interact directly with the public, listen to their grievances, and provide immediate solutions.
He stated, “I will also be part of this campaign. All representatives and officials will work diligently to resolve public issues promptly. This is the core objective of the Public Trust Campaign.”
The campaign is launched to ensure the quick resolution of citizens’ problems across the state. From the ministry to district levels, all officials will now spend Fridays in the field, engaging with the community. The goals of the campaign include direct communication with the public, complete resolution of complaints and issues, obtaining feedback on real conditions in the field, strengthening the administrative oversight mechanism, and building a transparent and sensitive image of the administration.
On Fridays, no meetings will be held at any level, except in unavoidable circumstances. This day will be dedicated solely to field visits. Senior officials from Bhopal to divisions and districts will participate in these visits, along with the Chief Minister, ministers, senior government officials, and local representatives.
District collectors will identify the areas for visits a week in advance and inform the representatives. According to the campaign’s framework, pending cases related to the CM Helpline, public hearings, and public service guarantees will be reviewed before the visit. All pending cases will be resolved, and any applications received during the visits will be addressed on-site. The four main pillars of the Public Trust Campaign will be dialogue, resolution, sensitivity, and simplicity.
