New Delhi, August 7: Congress leaders have expressed their support for the ongoing protests by JPSC-JSSC candidates in Jharkhand. On Friday, they rallied behind the students, emphasizing the need for dialogue to resolve the issues at hand.
Congress MP Imran Masood stated, “Rahul Gandhi’s assurances will be fulfilled. He stands with the students, and their voices will resonate across the nation.”
Senior Congress leader and MLA Rameshwar Oraon praised Rahul Gandhi’s stance, saying, “Rahul Gandhi has done the right thing. He firmly opposes corruption wherever it occurs. We stand with him.”
Congress leader Rakesh Sinha highlighted the importance of communication, saying, “Every problem can be solved through dialogue. When discussions happen, issues can be resolved. Conversations will likely take place with the protesting students to understand their concerns, and that is precisely what Rahul Gandhi has done.”
Regarding the student protests, Congress MLA Rajesh Kachhap remarked, “The Congress party stands with the students of Jharkhand. I want to point out that BJP leaders are demanding a CBI investigation in this matter. If they insist on a CBI probe, it might indicate that individuals associated with the BJP want to shield those involved. The CBI investigations from 2002 and 2004 have yet to reach closure reports. If we hand this case over to the CBI now, we must first resolve those older cases, which have been pending for nearly 15 years. This case could also suffer similar delays.”
Rahul Gandhi recently released a video asserting that the Congress party supports the youth. He clearly stated that the education system in the country is failing. Every government should listen to the students and strive for reforms in the education system.
