RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat Begins Three-Day Visit to Lucknow

Lucknow, May 24: Mohan Bhagwat, the chief of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), has arrived in Lucknow for a three-day visit starting Sunday. He will participate in various intellectual and dialogue programs at the Saraswati Vidya Mandir located in Nirala Nagar, as part of the worker development camp organized under the eastern Uttar Pradesh region of the RSS from May 21 to June 11. Bhagwat’s stay will be from May 24 to May 26.

According to Ashok Dubey, the provincial publicity chief of the RSS, the worker development camp is currently underway at the Saraswati Vidya Mandir. During his visit, Bhagwat will engage with students attending the training camp through various intellectual sessions and dialogue programs. Sources suggest that there may also be a meeting between Bhagwat and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath during this period.

It is anticipated that discussions may revolve around issues related to coordination between the organization and the government. Political circles are viewing this visit as a preparatory step for the upcoming 2027 assembly elections.

Reports indicate that the RSS chief may communicate with officials and workers associated with the BJP at various levels. Guidance is expected on topics such as electoral strategy, social outreach, and the active involvement of workers.

While no official information has been provided regarding political meetings, discussions about this visit are ongoing in the capital. Historically, the RSS chief’s visits to Uttar Pradesh, particularly Lucknow, during election years are considered crucial from an organizational perspective. Bhagwat has previously held several RSS meetings in the capital, making this visit significant for upcoming political and organizational activities.
