
New Delhi, September 8 (Daily Kiran) : The dream of securing a job in the railway sector continues to inspire countless young individuals across the country. For those aspiring to join this field, a significant opportunity has emerged. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially announced 560 vacancies in various paramedical categories.
The online application process for these positions will commence on September 15, 2026, and will remain open until October 14, 2026. Candidates interested in applying can complete their registration on the RRB’s official website once the application link is activated.
Applicants must be between 18 and 40 years of age as of January 1, 2027. There will be age relaxation for candidates from reserved categories as per government regulations.
Selection will be based on several criteria, including a Computer-Based Test (CBT), Document Verification (DV), and Medical Examination (ME). Successful candidates can expect monthly salaries ranging from Pay Level 3 to Pay Level 7, in accordance with the 7th Central Pay Commission, along with additional benefits and allowances.
While filling out the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online. The fee is set at ₹500 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates, while it is ₹250 for SC, ST, ex-servicemen, persons with disabilities, women, transgender individuals, minorities, and Economically Backward Classes.
