This bike draws inspiration from the historic Flying Flea used by the British Army during World War II, merging retro aesthetics with modern electric technology. Initially showcased in Milan, the C6 features a lightweight design and a unique girder front suspension.
Recently, the Flying Flea C6 was spotted testing on Indian roads in Chennai without camouflage. This sighting indicates that Royal Enfield is making significant progress toward production readiness, showcasing the motorcycle’s retro-inspired design and essential hardware.
At the core of the motorcycle is a newly developed Vehicle Control Unit (VCU), engineered in-house. This system manages most of the bike’s physical and digital interfaces. The motorcycle will also support charging through a standard household three-pin socket, simplifying the charging process for owners. The Flying Flea C6 was also showcased at the Consumer Electronics Show 2025, where Royal Enfield announced a partnership with Qualcomm to integrate advanced connectivity features into the motorcycle. The bike is expected to utilize Qualcomm’s Snapdragon QWM2290 chipset, enabling real-time connected services through the Snapdragon Car to Cloud platform.
Riders will enjoy five preset riding modes, customizable according to their preferences or riding conditions. Additionally, the connected system allows a compatible smartphone to function as a smart key, enabling riders to unlock and start the motorcycle directly from their phones.
