Noida, June 15: In a significant development, Roshan Anand, the director of Gyan Bindu Coaching Institute, has been granted bail by the Patna Civil Court in connection with the alleged attack and firing incident outside Khan Institute. The hearing took place on Monday, where lawyers from both sides presented their arguments. Following the proceedings, the court approved Anand’s bail application, providing him with much-needed relief.
During the hearing, there was an extensive debate between the prosecution and the defense. After considering the arguments, the court accepted Anand’s plea for bail and ordered his release. This decision has brought considerable relief to Roshan Anand.
Advocate Ramakant Sharma, who represented Anand, stated in an interview that the police had unnecessarily imposed serious charges in this case. He pointed out that the police included Section 307 (attempt to murder) of the Indian Penal Code, despite the fact that the injured individuals did not sustain any serious injuries; their wounds were of a minor nature.
The advocate further argued that the FIR itself mentions that the firing was carried out by security guards. Therefore, this incident appears to be a dispute between coaching institutions rather than an organized crime. He emphasized that such cases should not be criminalized unnecessarily, complicating the situation further. However, the court has now granted Roshan Anand permanent bail.
It is noteworthy that this case is linked to the alleged firing and scuffle outside the coaching institute of renowned teacher Faizal Khan. Following this incident, Roshan Anand was accused and subsequently arrested, spending time in judicial custody. With the court’s order, he has now secured bail.
