Rohini Acharya Criticizes CM Samrat Chaudhary Amid Political Tensions

Patna, April 24: In a significant political development, the newly formed government in Bihar secured a vote of confidence during a special session of the state assembly on Friday. Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary launched a fierce political attack on RJD President Lalu Yadav, prompting a sharp response from Rohini Acharya.

Acharya, who contested the last Lok Sabha elections from the Saran region, took to social media to express her discontent. She remarked that there seems to be a “chemical imbalance” affecting the Chief Minister’s memory. During the confidence motion debate, Chaudhary claimed to have the blessings of Bihar’s 140 million people.

Acharya questioned the validity of this claim, asking, “Are there really 140 million voters in Bihar? Did the NDA campaign under Samrat Chaudhary’s name and face?” She noted that while the Chief Minister spoke about his age and qualifications, he failed to provide any logical or factual evidence to support them.

She further criticized Chaudhary for his comments regarding Lalu Yadav’s imprisonment, suggesting that the Chief Minister had forgotten that even BJP members acknowledge that legal and judicial processes follow due procedure, not personal whims.

Acharya pointed out that while Chaudhary boasted about Nitish Kumar’s role in his appointment, he conveniently overlooked the fact that he had once vowed to remove Kumar from power. She highlighted Chaudhary’s discomfort with personal attacks during his speech, reminding him of his own derogatory remarks about a daughter donating a kidney to her father.

Regarding Chaudhary’s assertion that “power is not someone’s inheritance,” Acharya emphasized that this is not a new sentiment. It is well-known that those chosen by the public hold power. However, she stressed that the current Chief Minister was not elected by the people, and he was not the face of the Chief Ministership; that role belonged to someone else who was removed through manipulation.
