Restaurant Owners Welcome Reduction in Commercial LPG Cylinder Prices

Jaipur, July 1: Restaurant operators across the country expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Modi on Wednesday following the government’s decision to reduce commercial LPG cylinder prices. This reduction has brought significant joy to restaurant owners, who believe it will revitalize business in the markets.

On Wednesday, government oil distribution companies announced a decrease in commercial LPG prices. In the national capital, the price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has dropped by ₹183.50, bringing it down to ₹2,930 from the previous ₹3,113.50.

Following this price cut, restaurant operators from various states and cities welcomed the government’s decision. Restaurant and dhaba owners in Rajasthan particularly appreciated the reduction, stating it would lower operational costs and provide relief to small business owners.

Restaurant operator Gyandeep Solanki remarked that rising prices had previously made gas unavailable for restaurants. He commended the government’s initiative, noting that prices had surged during wartime conditions, placing a heavy financial burden on restaurant owners. With this reduction, they have received considerable relief and hope the government will continue to take such commendable steps for public welfare.

Jeetendra Singh highlighted that the increase in gas prices had posed a significant challenge for restaurant operators. The ₹183 reduction per cylinder has brought relief, as there was a shortage of gas supply earlier. Now, timely deliveries are being made, allowing them to provide better services to customers.

Veerendra expressed satisfaction with the decrease in gas cylinder prices. During the gas shortage, they had to resort to using wood for cooking. Customers often left upon hearing the inflated prices. With the reduction, they plan to lower their product prices, which will help attract more customers back to the market.

A restaurant operator from Dharamshala thanked the government for the price cut, stating that the previous high prices had caused significant difficulties. Due to the increased costs of food and beverages, customers had been hesitant to dine out. However, with the gas price reduction, they plan to lower their prices, encouraging more patrons to visit. They hope the government will continue to provide gas at the previous rates.
