Bengaluru, April 14: Young fast bowler Rasikh Salam of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) is thrilled to contribute to the team’s victories. He expressed his desire to maintain this level of performance moving forward. RCB is set to face Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on Wednesday at the M. Chinnaswamy Cricket Stadium.
In the last match against Mumbai Indians, Rasikh delivered an impressive performance with the ball. He took the wicket of Naman Dhir while conceding just 23 runs in a 2.5-over spell during a high-scoring game. RCB secured an 18-run victory over Mumbai Indians and currently holds the third position on the points table with 6 points.
Speaking at a press conference ahead of the match against LSG, Rasikh stated, “The win against Mumbai Indians was crucial for us, and as a team, we feel very confident. Our roles and what we need to do are very clear, and we are excited to play at our home ground on Wednesday.”
Reflecting on his return to the IPL after a long break, Rasikh commented, “I was playing my first IPL match in a while, but my preparation remained the same. The hard work we put in over the past year was all about getting ready for different match situations, and in the last match, I focused on executing my plans on the field.”
