Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor has expressed high admiration for his debut film co-star Rani Mukerji, who recently completed three decades in Hindi cinema. Ranbir regards Rani as one of the finest actresses in the country.
He stated that Rani is a performer whose example will always be cited, having given the industry a fresh identity through her work. Reflecting on their experience in the 2007 film Sanwariya, Ranbir recalled, “Rani was the first person to tell me that if I worked hard, I would go far.”
Ranbir added, “I will never forget that conversation. When I needed confidence and courage the most, her words gave me strength. I have closely observed her grace, charm, and talent, and I have always felt that Rani is an actress who will be remembered as a benchmark. She is one of India’s greatest actors to date. Her choice of projects and roles has shaped how women are portrayed on screen today.”
He saluted the entire film industry for celebrating Rani’s remarkable 30-year legacy. Ranbir further said that Rani’s intention is to spread happiness through cinema. “She is an entertainer who has dedicated her life to bringing joy to people. Her films have deeply impacted me, and I find myself speechless in expressing my gratitude,” he remarked.

Rani Mukerji is set to appear soon in Mardaani 3, directed by Abhiraj Minawala and produced by Aditya Chopra. The Mardaani franchise highlights dark and harsh social realities, and this new installment is expected to strengthen that legacy.
