Murshidabad, April 20: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh targeted the Trinamool Congress (TMC) during a press conference on Monday. He stated that for the past 15 years, West Bengal has been engulfed in an atmosphere of fear, violence, and alleged atrocities. The people of West Bengal have given TMC three consecutive terms. In my opinion, 15 years is not a short time for any state’s development.
In Nanur, West Bengal, the Defense Minister remarked that many states in the country have achieved rapid development in just 5 to 8 years. Previously, West Bengal contributed 10 percent to the national economy; however, this has now dropped to 5 percent since the TMC came to power. People are struggling to live in a climate of fear and intimidation. He urged the people of Bengal to ensure that change occurs this time.
He reassured the mothers and sisters of the region, encouraging them to strengthen the hands of the BJP. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is fully committed to providing 33 percent reservation for women in the Lok Sabha and state assemblies. This will happen sooner or later. The Defense Minister expressed confidence that the BJP would secure a full majority.
Regarding the Women’s Reservation Amendment Bill, he criticized the opposition parties, including TMC, DMK, and SP, for their opposition. He believes that women will teach these parties a lesson in the upcoming elections. On Operation Sindoor, the Defense Minister praised its success and congratulated the brave soldiers of the Indian Army.
Central Minister J.P. Nadda, speaking in Murshidabad, noted the enthusiasm he observed in Bengal, indicating that the public is ready to bid farewell to Mamata Didi. He claimed that there is a one-sided atmosphere favoring the BJP. The people are deeply troubled by issues like cut money, corruption, and women’s harassment. They are determined to support the ‘lotus’ to free themselves from this terror.
