New Delhi, April 20: Kailash Vijayvargiya, a minister from Madhya Pradesh, criticized the Congress party following the rejection of the Constitution (131st Amendment) Bill in the Lok Sabha. He stated that Congress has betrayed the women of the country, asserting that they will never forgive this act.
Vijayvargiya emphasized that the Congress party deceived women, claiming they supported the bill while ultimately revealing their true intentions.
In a related statement, Nasim Solanki, a legislator from the Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh, questioned when the government has genuinely supported women’s rights. She expressed her frustration, stating that if true support existed, women like her would not have to endure such hardships.
Solanki shared her personal struggles, recalling the pain she felt when her husband was imprisoned. She highlighted the BJP’s indifference to the suffering of women and the impact of false accusations on families. She noted that the public revealed the truth during the elections.
The legislator remarked that the public understands what is best for women’s rights, which is why they supported her in the by-elections. She dismissed the notion that this was merely a political tactic, asserting that every party operates differently, but the public knows who truly stands for women’s rights.
In Rajasthan, Siddhi Kumari, a former legislator from Bikaner East, spoke to reporters about the Nari Shakti Vandan Bill. She stated that the Nari Shakti Act was designed to empower women. Kumari expressed disappointment over the bill’s failure, emphasizing that it was intended to uplift women who aspire to contribute positively to their families and society.
