Jaipur, October 13 (Udaipur Kiran): The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Monday caught Ramhet Bairwa, In-charge of the Revenue/Land Branch (Assistant Employee) at Rajgarh Municipality, Alwar district, red-handed while accepting a ₹12,000 bribe from a complainant.

According to Smita Srivastava, Additional Director General of Police, ACB Headquarters, the Alwar First Unit received a complaint alleging that the accused demanded money to issue a land lease (patta) in the complainant’s wife’s name.
The complainant stated that he had purchased a 242-square-yard plot in Rebarpura Mohalla, Dhola Khoja, Rajgarh in 2020. After depositing the official lease amount of ₹75,978 on October 3, 2025, his patta was still not processed. When he approached Ramhet Bairwa on October 9, the accused allegedly demanded ₹10,000 for issuing the patta and an additional ₹5,000 for approving conversion orders related to another plot owned by his wife.
As per the complaint, Bairwa had already accepted ₹3,000 on October 10 and later demanded the remaining ₹12,000. The ACB verified the complaint and organized a trap. During the operation on October 13, 2025, the accused was caught accepting ₹12,000 in cash, which was recovered from the left front pocket of his shirt.
The trap was executed under the supervision of Rajesh Singh, Deputy Inspector General of Police (First Division), and led by Additional Superintendent of Police Mahendra Kumar (TLO), along with the ACB Alwar First team.
The accused is currently under interrogation. The ACB has registered a case under the Prevention of Corruption Act and initiated further investigation.
