Rajasthans Potential as a Global Education Hub Highlighted by Om Birla

Jaipur, April 23: Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla emphasized on Wednesday that Rajasthan has the potential to emerge as a leading global education center, attracting students from around the world.

He stressed that this vision can be realized through collective efforts, determination, and confidence.

Birla inaugurated the new campus of Jaishree Periwal Global School alongside Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani.

Both dignitaries toured the modern campus, assessing its state-of-the-art classrooms and facilities.

Addressing the assembly, Birla stated that the Constitution of India serves as a guiding light for democracies worldwide, labeling democracy as the nation’s greatest strength.

He urged citizens to actively contribute to shaping the rapidly changing future of India.

Vasudev Devnani described the occasion as more than just the inauguration of a building, calling it the beginning of a bright future for India.

He stated that the campus symbolizes an environment conducive to the development of knowledge.

Highlighting the broader meaning of education, Devnani remarked that it extends beyond literacy; it is a powerful force that awakens human potential and transforms individuals from ordinary to extraordinary.

Referencing India’s rich educational heritage, the Rajasthan Assembly Speaker mentioned ancient centers of learning like Nalanda and Takshashila, asserting that India has historically been a global center of knowledge.

He noted that despite challenges over the centuries, the country’s tradition of knowledge remains unbroken. Today, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, India is progressing in economic, cultural, and spiritual realms, moving towards becoming a developed nation.

Devnani encouraged students to pursue modern education while staying connected to India’s traditions and values. He urged them to utilize their knowledge and skills for nation-building.
