Patna, April 19: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Patna has officially announced the recruitment of 86 faculty positions. The last date to apply for these positions is set for May 4.
The online application process for these roles commenced on March 20. Eligible and interested candidates can submit their application forms on the official website within the specified deadline.
AIIMS Patna is seeking applications for various positions, including 31 Professors, 16 Additional Professors, 20 Associate Professors, and 19 Assistant Professors. Candidates must possess relevant degrees such as MBBS, MD/MS/DM/MCh from recognized institutions. Additionally, candidates should have teaching or research experience post-graduation as per the position requirements.
The maximum age limit for applicants is 50 years, calculated as of May 4. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per government regulations.
When filling out the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online, which is ₹2,000 for General/OBC candidates and ₹1,200 for SC/ST/EWS candidates. Candidates belonging to the PWD category will be exempt from the application fee.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on a preliminary eligibility test, screening score (if there are more than 10 applicants), personal interview, and document verification. The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹1,01,500 to ₹2,20,400.
