Jaipur, February 22: Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal participated as the chief guest in a voluntary session organized by the Rajasthan State Legal Services Authority on Sunday. He was welcomed with a traditional turban.
Speaking to reporters, Meghwal stated, “When concerns about cyber security arise across the nation, conferences like this prove to be very helpful. The state-level legal services authority has organized this three-day conference, which was also attended by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma. It has been a very successful event.”
He emphasized that this initiative by the Rajasthan Legal Services Authority is a significant state-level effort. The conference addressed various types of cyber crimes, how to raise awareness, and strategies to prevent them.
Meghwal pointed out that many people fall victim to cyber fraud due to a lack of accurate information. Similar programs are regularly held in Delhi to keep the public informed about cyber crimes. The government’s primary objective is to raise awareness among citizens to protect them from cyber fraud.
He added that all questions were addressed during the voluntary session organized by the Rajasthan State Legal Services Authority, aiming to provide comprehensive information in a short time.
Furthermore, Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal announced that Rajasthan will be the first state to establish cyber courts alongside cyber police stations, as declared by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal. This initiative is expected to greatly benefit the public. Throughout the three-day program, numerous speakers engaged with attendees to enhance awareness.
