Patna, April 2: Bihar’s Minister Ramkripal Yadav has responded to Tejashwi Yadav’s recent remarks labeling Bihar as the poorest state in India. This statement came during a campaign rally in Kerala on March 31, where the Leader of the Opposition highlighted Kerala’s high literacy rates, superior healthcare, and robust infrastructure, suggesting Bihar should aim for similar progress.
In a conversation, Minister Ramkripal criticized Tejashwi for complaining about his own state while neglecting his responsibilities. He stated, “Tejashwi Yadav is not fulfilling his duties by branding his state as poor. Just like his mentor Rahul Gandhi, who disparages the country while abroad, Tejashwi is doing the same by belittling Bihar in another state. Politics should not stem from a frustrated mindset; he should focus on his responsibilities in his home state. This perspective is detrimental to both the state’s interests and his own.”
Ramkripal also condemned the recent bombing outside the BJP office in Punjab, calling it unfortunate. He emphasized the need for a thorough investigation and strict action against those responsible, while also stressing the importance of securing the BJP office.
He highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts to mitigate conflicts in Gulf countries, noting that the Prime Minister has taken this issue seriously. Recently, Modi convened a meeting with ministers to discuss strategies for addressing these challenges. Thanks to the Prime Minister’s effective leadership, the supply of petroleum products and gas has remained stable, ensuring consumers face no difficulties.
Ramkripal remarked, “The Prime Minister, as the head of the country, is occupied with numerous responsibilities. Historically, many Prime Ministers have been unable to attend all-party meetings.”
