Rajasthan Deputy CM Diya Kumari lauds Budget 2026 for boosting employment and MSMEs

Jaipur, February 2: Rajasthan’s Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari praised the Union Budget 2026 presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, calling it a strong foundation for a developed India. She described the budget as full of hope and opportunities for every section of society.

Diya Kumari expressed her gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Sitharaman for presenting a solid and visionary budget aimed at transforming the country into a developed nation. She highlighted that it is the first time the budget was presented from the new parliament building and is based on three key duties: promoting economic growth, fulfilling public expectations, and fostering inclusive development under the motto ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’.

The Deputy CM pointed out that the budget addresses infrastructure, MSMEs, women, farmers, youth, and students, ensuring attention to all sectors. She said India’s economy is stronger than ever and is rapidly moving towards becoming the world’s third-largest economic power.

She also mentioned the ‘Reform Express’ initiative in the budget, which aims to create more employment opportunities for youth and emphasizes making MSMEs self-reliant. The increase in defence expenditure was noted as a step to further strengthen India’s security capabilities.

Diya Kumari appreciated the announcements related to connectivity, stating these will better integrate various parts of the country and bring significant benefits to Rajasthan. She assured that the state’s double-engine government would accelerate development work.

She expressed confidence that this budget will meet current needs and lay a strong, prosperous foundation for future generations.
