He emphasized that the Yamuna Water Project is being advanced with a long-term and sustainable approach.
Patil explained that the project proposes to deliver water through a pipeline network instead of traditional canals. This will conserve water and expand the distribution system.
He also mentioned that pending issues among six states related to the Kishau Dam project have been resolved, and the MoA for this project will be signed soon.

The implementation of this project will ensure that Rajasthan receives its designated share of water from the Yamuna River, benefiting farmers, industries, and the general public while strengthening the state’s water management system.
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini remarked that state governments are working diligently to ensure water reaches every citizen under the Prime Minister’s guidance.
He added that the Renuka, Lakhwar, and Kishau projects will benefit the people of Haryana, Rajasthan, and Delhi.
