New Delhi, August 19: The monsoon is once again becoming active in the Delhi-NCR region. Rain is expected on Wednesday in Delhi, as well as in Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad, and Ghaziabad. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the sky will be overcast, and light rain may occur in several areas.
There is also a possibility of moderate rain in some locations between morning and afternoon. Another round of light to very light rain may occur in the evening and night. Despite the rain, significant changes in temperature are not anticipated in Delhi-NCR. The maximum temperature is expected to remain around 30 to 35 degrees Celsius. The rain is expected to provide some relief from the heat amid persistent humidity.
The weather department indicates that there is little chance of significant temperature changes in the coming days. Cloud cover and rain are likely to continue in the region on Thursday as well. In Noida, air quality varied across different areas on Wednesday morning. Data shows readings of 140 in Sector 125, 96 in Sector 62, 106 in Sector 1, and 138 in Sector 116.
