
New Delhi, March 27: The ninth form of Goddess Durga, Maa Siddhidatri, is being worshipped across the country today. On this auspicious occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also paid his respects to Maa Siddhidatri. He prayed for the goddess to bless all her devotees with success in their endeavors.
Prime Minister Modi shared a ‘Sanskrit Subhashitam’ on the social media platform ‘X’. In his post, he wrote, “Salutations to Maa Siddhidatri. I pray that the goddess blesses all her devotees with success.”
In the ‘Sanskrit Subhashitam’, he included the verse: “Siddhagandharvayakshadyairasurairamareirapi. Sevyamana sada bhuyat Siddhida Siddhidayini.” This translates to, “May Maa Siddhidatri, who is worshipped by Siddhas, Gandharvas, Yakshas, Asuras, and Devas, always bless us with success.”
Meanwhile, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan extended his wishes for Durga Navami on ‘X’, stating, “I bow to Maa Siddhidatri, the ninth form of the universal mother, who grants all accomplishments. I pray that you continuously shower your infinite grace upon your devotees. May every home be filled with wealth and prosperity, and may new flowers of happiness and fortune bloom for all.”
On this occasion, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed, “With the blessings of Maa Siddhidatri, the provider of the eight Siddhis and nine treasures, may happiness, prosperity, and health reside in the lives of all devotees. I pray for the welfare of the entire universe.”
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta also paid homage to Maa Siddhidatri, stating in her post, “This form of the goddess, who grants completeness to Lord Shiva, transforms our unwavering devotion and service into success. The blessings of the goddess empower us to fulfill our commitments to public welfare. May the infinite grace of Maa Siddhidatri ensure prosperity and happiness for all Delhi residents.”
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma also extended heartfelt wishes for the Navami worship, praying that Maa Siddhidatri’s blessings remain with everyone, granting us strength, wisdom, and health.
BJP National President Nitin Naveen also conveyed his best wishes for the ninth day of Chaitra Navratri, praying that Maa Siddhidatri bless everyone with success and prosperity.
