New Delhi, February 9: Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with students from various states during the second episode of “Exam Discussion 2026.” Among the participants were two brothers from Gujarat, Avi and Jai, whose names brought a smile to the Prime Minister’s face. He warmly embraced Jai during their introduction.
In fact, Prime Minister Modi had previously met the brothers in 2022. Their reunion at “Exam Discussion 2026” created a joyful atmosphere, as he reminded them of their earlier meeting.
“Jai and Avi, how much you’ve grown! You’ve shown other students how you know me,” said Modi. He then asked the other students if they felt encouraged, to which they responded affirmatively.
Following this, the Prime Minister initiated a Q&A session with students from Gujarat. He engaged in extensive discussions on education, stress relief, career options, and the contributions of tribal communities to nation-building.
The students, including those from tribal areas, welcomed the Prime Minister in their local language and expressed joy at seeing him in a traditional jacket adorned with local art. One student remarked, “Sir, we are very excited to meet you. Everyone wants to meet and talk with you at least once, and we feel honored to have this opportunity today.”
Another student inquired about the inspiration behind the Prime Minister’s efforts to develop Gujarat’s tribal regions. In response, Modi shared his experiences during the Pal-Chitariya incident and the challenges faced by tribal communities.
He stated, “The freedom of the tribal community was a significant event, marked by great struggle. There was a terrible famine, and I spent a lot of time working there. This experience highlighted the importance of focusing on education, and when I became Chief Minister, I knew it was essential.”
“You might be surprised to learn that there was no science school from Umargam to Ambaji. Now, many educational institutions are benefiting students immensely,” Modi added. He emphasized that education is crucial for development and that a strong infrastructure is the foundation for long-term growth.
