President Murmus Visit to Ayodhya: Inauguration of Shri Ram Yantra at Ram Temple

Ayodhya, March 19: President Droupadi Murmu will visit Ayodhya on Thursday. She is set to participate in several religious events at the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. Extensive preparations and security arrangements have already been completed for her visit.

During her trip, President Murmu will establish the ‘Shri Ram Yantra’ and the ‘Shri Ram Naam Mandir’ on the second floor of the temple complex. A Vedic ritual will also take place, guided by priest Ganeshwar Shastri, with the participation of 51 Vedic scholars from South India, Kashi, and Ayodhya.

As part of the program, President Murmu will honor approximately 400 workers who contributed to the temple’s construction. Additionally, she will hoist a flag at a temple located in the outer area of the complex, known as ‘Parkota.’

According to officials, the President’s convoy is expected to arrive at the temple complex around 11 AM, and she will stay for about four hours.

Many religious and social leaders, including prominent spiritual figures, are expected to attend the event. Around 5,000 special guests have been invited, and comprehensive arrangements for security, seating, transportation, and accommodation have been made.

The entire city has been decorated for the President’s visit. Saffron flags and decorative banners have been placed along the roads leading to the temple. On Wednesday, activists were seen putting up banners featuring images of the President, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Discussing the preparations, Ayodhya District Magistrate Nikhil Tikaram Punde stated, “We are working to ensure that this event proceeds without any hindrance.” He added that ‘VIP darshan’ will be closed on the day of the President’s visit, but general devotees will be allowed entry, except during the time the President is present in the temple complex.

Ayodhya Senior Superintendent of Police Gaurav Grover mentioned that a detailed security plan has been developed. He said, “We have been briefed about security measures and our responsibilities during President Murmu’s visit. Every aspect, from her arrival at the airport to her route to the event venue, has been meticulously planned.”

He further assured, “We will also ensure that the general public visiting for ‘darshan’ does not face any inconvenience.”
