New Delhi, May 19: Prataprao Jadhav, the Union Minister of State for AYUSH and Health, launched the ‘AYUSH Grant Portal’ on Tuesday. This platform simplifies the submission, processing, approval, and monitoring of funding proposals under various central schemes.
According to an official statement, the portal has been developed under the ‘AYUSH Grid’ initiative.
Jadhav emphasized that the ‘AYUSH Grid’ represents a visionary digital initiative by the Government of India, aiming to establish an integrated, transparent, and citizen-centric digital ecosystem for the AYUSH sector through modern technology.
Highlighting the rationale behind this initiative, the minister stated that inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Ease of Doing Business’ and ‘Ease of Living,’ the ‘AYUSH Grant Portal’ has been designed as a comprehensive digital platform.
He noted that this portal will revolutionize the grant management system in the AYUSH sector.
An official explained that the ‘AYUSH Grant Portal’ allows organizations and institutions to submit online funding proposals through a structured and user-friendly interface, eliminating reliance on manual and paper-based systems.
The statement mentioned that this platform, integrated with the ‘NGO Darpan Portal,’ facilitates seamless authentication and verification of applicant organizations, enhancing institutional credibility and streamlining verification processes.
One of the key features of the portal is its ‘scheme-wise application management system,’ which categorizes, processes, and tracks proposals according to the specific requirements of various central schemes.
The platform also includes a ‘real-time application tracking mechanism,’ enabling applicants and officials to monitor the status of their proposals at every stage of processing.
Emphasizing the portal’s significance, Jadhav stated that its primary goal is to ensure 100% transparency, efficiency, accountability, and easy access in the grant management process.
He also noted that by allowing organizations and institutions to submit their proposals entirely online, the portal promotes the government’s vision of ‘paperless governance.’
The state minister further mentioned that integration with the ‘NGO Darpan Portal’ will make the authentication and verification of applicant organizations faster, more automated, reliable, and error-free.
He stressed that under the ABDM-compliant AYUSH Grid initiative, several digital platforms have already been developed in areas such as education, research, healthcare services, management of medicinal plants, drug regulation, capacity building, and global outreach, ensuring transparent and citizen-friendly service delivery.
