New Delhi, May 17: The police have successfully resolved a murder case near the Dilshad Colony traffic light. All three suspects involved in the incident have been arrested.
On the night of May 16, around 11 PM, the Seemapuri police received information about an unidentified injured person lying near the Dilshad Colony traffic light. A passerby had taken the victim to GTB Hospital, where he was declared dead on May 17. Upon learning of the incident, police officials arrived at both the hospital and the crime scene.
During the investigation, a witness named Gaurav came forward. He identified the deceased as Zeeshan, stating that they were friends walking together along the service lane near the traffic light when three acquaintances—Sonu, Lakshmi Narayan, and Mohammad Aman, also known as Shahid—arrived on a scooter and confronted them over an old dispute.
When Gaurav objected, the suspects warned him to stay out of it, as they intended to teach Zeeshan a lesson. During the altercation, Mohammad Aman held Zeeshan, while Sonu brandished a sharp weapon and stabbed him in the chest. Lakshmi Narayan then attacked him with a stick. After committing the crime, the three suspects fled the scene.
The police formed a special team to investigate the case. They conducted raids on the suspects’ possible hideouts and managed to apprehend all three within hours.
According to police reports, Sonu works as a laborer, Lakshmi Narayan sells shoes on the sidewalk, and Mohammad Aman works as a daily wage laborer in a salon. The weapon used in the murder has been recovered from the suspects.
