PM Modi Highlights Legacy of Courage and Strength in Bengaluru Rally

Bengaluru, May 10: Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended a massive rally in Bengaluru on Sunday. He expressed gratitude to the thousands of BJP workers who gathered early in the morning, stating, “Today, the saffron sun has risen from the land of Bengaluru. Your victory in Bengal is also a victory for all of us.”

PM Modi emphasized the historical significance of May 10, marking the day in 1857 when the first spark of the freedom struggle ignited. He remarked, “Over time, this spark transformed into a great flame, which burned the shackles of slavery.”

He noted that the legacy of courage and strength is our greatest asset. Inspired by this spirit, he mentioned the recent celebration of the first anniversary of ‘Operation Sindoor.’ He will be in Somnath, Gujarat, on the 11th for the temple’s reconstruction celebration.

During his address, the Prime Minister highlighted the ongoing discussions about election results across the country. He pointed out the NDA’s consecutive victories in Puducherry and Assam, and the significant support BJP received in Bengal. He also noted the record-breaking victories in the recent local elections in Gujarat, stating that these results reflect the mood of India’s youth, women, farmers, the poor, and the middle class.

“The message is clear: In a world fraught with instability, the people of India are advocating for stability,” he said. Modi stressed that the public demands speed and solutions, not scams, and that they seek politics rooted in national policy.

He recalled that just a decade ago, the BJP had only three MLAs in Bengal, whereas now they boast over 200. He expressed confidence that the BJP’s presence in Kerala would soon surpass the majority threshold.

Modi reflected on the BJP’s 12 years in power at the center and the governance in over 21 states, contrasting it with the Congress party’s declining fortunes. He criticized Congress for failing to secure over 100 seats in the last three elections, attributing their downfall to arrogance and a lack of constructive agenda.

He concluded by reaffirming that for BJP governments, public welfare is paramount. “Our mantra is ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ (Together with all, development for all). Our model is good governance, which is why the public continues to give us opportunities to serve,” he stated, contrasting it with Congress’s inability to return to power in any state.
