BJPs Sudhanshu Trivedi Accuses Congress of Spreading Falsehoods Amidst Election Defeat

New Delhi, August 20: BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi has launched a sharp critique against the Congress party, accusing it of disseminating misleading information. He stated that the party, in a state of despair over its electoral losses, is posting false and fabricated claims on its official social media accounts.

Trivedi remarked, “Congress has completely failed to confront the truth based on facts and has consistently struggled to gain public support. In its frustration over its defeat, it is now sharing misleading and entirely fabricated content on its official social media handles.” This was evident when the Chhattisgarh Congress posted about our National President Nitin Naveen dining publicly with party leaders during his visit to Andhra Pradesh. That post was entirely false, defamatory, and misleading.”

He further noted that on August 15, the Congress party and its leaders engaged in absurd and malicious propaganda regarding India’s national flag through their official social media channels. This included misrepresenting a BJP event video as part of Independence Day celebrations and displaying the national flag upside down.

The BJP leader emphasized that Congress’s behavior reflects a deeply flawed and dangerous mindset. In the lead-up to the 2024 elections, the Telangana Congress had previously posted an edited video of the Home Minister on its official handle. Following its exposure, legal action was taken. Therefore, we want to assert that the actions taken by Congress today regarding our National President are utterly condemnable, continuing the pattern of frustration and resentment that has persisted for two years. The Bharatiya Janata Party strongly condemns the false and misleading propaganda spread by them.”

He concluded by stating that this issue is not only politically and morally reprehensible but also legally serious. “No matter how much the Congress party tries to peddle lies, we want to alert the public that they are attempting to disguise their failures as falsehoods, but they cannot prevent the truth from emerging.”
