New Delhi, June 5: Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a thoughtful message on the social media platform ‘X’ on Friday, highlighting the importance of nature conservation. He emphasized that protecting nature is not just a responsibility but a fundamental part of our culture and values.
In his post, PM Modi included a Sanskrit verse that reflects this sentiment: “Madhvata ritayate madhu ksharanti sindhavah. Madhvirnah santvoṣadhih.” This verse conveys that may the winds flow delightfully for us, rivers provide life-sustaining water, and plants and herbs bring health and happiness to all living beings.
Earlier, on Thursday, PM Modi had urged people to incorporate yoga into their daily routines. He stated that regular practice of yoga keeps the body healthy and the mind calm, leading to a balanced and energetic life. He also shared another Sanskrit verse, which reads: “Yogena chittasya padena vacham malam sharirasyacha vaidyakena. Yo’pakarot tam pravaram muninam Patanjalim pranjalir anato’smi.” This verse signifies reverence to the great sage Patanjali, who purifies the mind through yoga, speech through grammar, and the body through Ayurveda.
On Wednesday, PM Modi had shared a message promoting unity, asserting that collective strength and cooperation significantly enhance the nation’s power.
