Nice, June 15: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron visited Villa Kerlios in Nice, France, on Sunday. The two leaders were seen engaging in light conversation as they toured the villa.

Earlier, PM Modi and President Macron inaugurated the ‘India Innovates 2026’ event in Nice. During the opening ceremony, PM Modi emphasized that the pace of reforms in India will continue unabated. He highlighted the country’s readiness for growth, particularly in its startup ecosystem, and invited innovators worldwide to collaborate with India in creating technological solutions for global challenges.

He stated, “The number of startups in India will keep increasing as the country is committed to development driven by reforms and innovation. Over the past 12 years, India has built a robust innovation system, emerging as the world’s third-largest startup ecosystem.”

The Prime Minister added, “In the last 11-12 years, India has established a strong ecosystem for innovation. From patent filings to incubation networks, and from Startup India to supportive policies, this entire journey has progressed in mission mode.”
