PM Modi Addresses Rally in Tarakeswar, Highlights Development in West Bengal

Mumbai, June 20: Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Tarakeswar, West Bengal, on Saturday, addressing a large gathering. During the event, he announced the 23rd installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme. This initiative transferred over ₹18,880 crores to the bank accounts of more than 9.44 crore farmer families across the country through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

In his speech, PM Modi emphasized that the dreams envisioned for Bengal’s bright future after independence are now being realized. He stated that this historic date should inspire the development of West Bengal, marking the beginning of a grand campaign for progress under the NDA government.

Attendees at the rally expressed their views. Gopal Upadhyay remarked that under PM Modi’s leadership, good days are finally here. He noted that the double-engine government has made Bengal and the entire country safer, contrasting it with the previous administration, which he claimed allowed increasing infiltration. He expressed happiness over PM Modi’s presence on Bengal Day and highlighted the rapid development initiatives that have commenced since the new government took office.

Another attendee expressed gratitude for PM Modi’s visit, stating that the Prime Minister’s presence signifies a commitment to accelerating development. They expressed hope that closed factories would be reopened under the new administration.

A woman in the crowd shared her pride in the establishment of a people’s government, noting that the double-engine government is now accelerating development in Bengal.

Another woman added that they are proud of PM Modi’s visit, praising his commitment to development and his ability to fulfill promises made during his campaign.
