Patna, August 16: Pappu Yadav, the Member of Parliament from Purnia, has expressed his views on various pressing issues, including the Vande Mataram controversy, the SIR voter list timeline, Prime Minister Modi’s remarks on ending Naxalism, Rahul Gandhi’s silence on student protests in Ranchi, and Tejashwi Yadav’s planned march to the Raj Bhavan.
In a recent conversation, Yadav criticized the SIR mechanism, questioning who is responsible for the degradation of democracy and the erosion of the Constitution’s core principles. “What remains now? The government has been forcibly established,” he stated.
Regarding the BJP’s stance on Vande Mataram, Yadav remarked, “The BJP will say what it wants. Everyone has the right to express themselves. They intimidate children. Those who do not respect the Constitution and the flag, who refuse to acknowledge Ram as God, are the ones questioning Vande Mataram. They fail to understand that Gen-Z has transcended the Hindu-Muslim and backward-forward divides. The BJP lacks any real issues.”
On the topic of Naxalism, Yadav challenged PM Modi’s speech, asking, “Who are the Naxals? After the Gen-Z movement, where do they see Naxalism? Intellectuals in India have been insulted, and an apology is due.”
Addressing the student protests in Ranchi, Yadav stated, “Rahul Gandhi has spoken about this issue not once, but ten times. Discussions have taken place. The Chief Minister has acted. The BJP’s influence will not change anything, as the students are satisfied.”
