Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel Embarks on US and Canada Tour for Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit

Ahmedabad, August 16: Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has commenced his tour to the United States and Canada in preparation for the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2027. During this trip, he will meet with investors and industry bodies to enhance foreign investment in Gujarat.

Accompanying the Chief Minister are key officials including Chief Secretary M.K. Das, Additional Chief Secretary of the Finance Department T. Natarajan, Additional Chief Secretary of the Industries and Mines Department Mamta Verma, Principal Secretary Sanjeev Kumar, and Additional Principal Secretary Dr. Vikrant Pandey. A delegation representing the state’s industry and trade sectors will also join him on this international visit.

Under the Chief Minister’s leadership, the Gujarat delegation will engage in roundtable conferences and one-on-one meetings with various industrial investors in Washington D.C., New York, San Francisco, and Toronto. They aim to showcase Gujarat’s global development narrative and extend invitations for participation in the Vibrant Gujarat Summit scheduled for January 2027.

As the Chief Minister departed from Ahmedabad Airport, officials including Collector Bhavya Verma were present to wish him a successful journey. The Chief Minister’s Office shared details of the trip via social media, stating, “Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has left this morning from Ahmedabad Airport for the US and Canada as part of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit – 2027.”

“Led by the Chief Minister, the delegation will hold roundtable conferences and one-on-one meetings with various industrial investors and leaders from the emerging technology sector, as well as Gujarati communities. The goal is to inform them about Gujarat’s global development and invite them to the Vibrant Gujarat Summit in January 2027.”
