Pappu Yadav Calls for Investigation into Bharat Tiwari Encounter Case

Gwalior, June 26: Pappu Yadav, the Member of Parliament from Purnia, has made serious allegations against the Bihar state government and administration regarding the controversial Bharat Tiwari encounter case. He asserted that the encounter was entirely unjustified and demanded a fair investigation into the matter. Yadav emphasized that the Congress party stands firmly with the victim’s family and will continue their fight for justice.

In an interview, Yadav mentioned that he personally met with the affected family to gather details about the incident. He accused the authorities of scapegoating Bharat Tiwari, stating, “Bharat Tiwari has been wrongly made a sacrificial lamb.” He insisted that accountability must be established, and the roles of the involved officials should be thoroughly examined. Yadav expressed concern that those who raise their voices for the poor and marginalized are being targeted, which poses a threat to democratic values.

He remarked, “If any state commits injustice against the poor, common citizens, or their children, the government must be held accountable. Whether the issue arises in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, or West Bengal, the public will demand justice and raise their voices democratically.”

During the discussion, Yadav also questioned the functioning of the central government and relevant agencies in the NEET paper leak case. He stated, “Millions of students work hard to prepare for competitive exams, but incidents like paper leaks jeopardize their future. Students and youth often have to wait long periods for employment and appointments after exams, leading to increased frustration.”

Yadav highlighted that his primary objective is to protect the interests of the country’s youth, students, and farmers. He stressed the need for a timely employment process, ensuring that appointments occur within a specified period after results are announced. This, he believes, will secure a better future for the youth.

In relation to the NEET paper leak case, he demanded strict action against those allegedly involved. He stated, “If any coaching institute or individual is found complicit, a fair investigation must be conducted, and the guilty should be punished according to the law.” He reiterated the call for the investigation to be handled by central agencies.

Pappu Yadav concluded by stating that the youth of the nation are demanding employment, education, and a transparent examination system. He expressed hope that concrete steps will be taken to safeguard students’ interests and that effective measures will be implemented to prevent such incidents in the future.
