New Delhi, August 27: BJP National Spokesperson RP Singh addressed various issues, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming SCO events, the flood situation in Nepal, the party’s ‘Echo of Lies’ campaign, and the extension of deadlines for auto-cab drivers in Maharashtra.
During his remarks, Singh criticized the opposition, stating that they perceive politics even in diplomacy. He emphasized that India is a part of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and actively participates in its activities. Prime Minister Modi is set to travel to Kyrgyzstan for this purpose, where he will present India’s stance. Such events benefit India, yet the opposition continues to voice criticisms.
On the Nepal disaster, Singh expressed condolences to the families of those who lost their lives. He noted that the Indian government is in constant contact with Nepal. Many Indians have been affected by the floods, including pilgrims heading to the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. He expressed hope that the Nepalese government would cooperate, and relief materials are being sent from India.
Regarding Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Singh stated, “They are spreading lies under the guise of the ‘Students’ Echo’ program. They are deliberately misrepresenting this initiative to portray Sanatan and Hinduism negatively. Recently, he mentioned Manusmriti, while no one in the country talks about it today. All citizens refer to Babasaheb Ambedkar’s Constitution.”
On the Marathi language controversy, Singh remarked that it is essential for residents to learn the local language, especially for auto-cab drivers.
