
New Delhi, June 3: The National Sports Tribunal (NST) has announced openings for two member positions under the National Sports Administration Act, 2025. Interested candidates are invited to apply through an official notification released by the NST.
The online application process has commenced, with the deadline set for June 18. Eligible candidates wishing to apply for these positions can submit their registration forms on the official portal of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports before 8 PM on the final date.
Applicants must be distinguished individuals in public life, possessing extensive knowledge and experience in sports, public administration, and law. The salary and other terms of appointment for NST members will be governed by the provisions of the National Sports Administration (National Sports Tribunal) Rules, 2026.
Selection of qualified candidates will be conducted by a search-and-selection committee established under the National Sports Governance Act, 2025. This committee will evaluate the suitability of applications based on candidates’ qualifications and experience, shortlisting them for personal interviews. The final selection will be based on a comprehensive assessment of candidates’ qualifications, experience, and performance in interviews.
It is important to note that the National Sports Tribunal is a statutory body established under the National Sports Governance Act, 2025. This tribunal, located in Delhi, addresses disputes related to sports. Selected members will also be posted in Delhi.
