Mumbai, April 16: OPPO is gearing up for a significant launch event on April 21, where it will unveil the Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s Pro in China. Concurrently, the company is preparing for the global introduction of the Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s, with the Ultra model confirmed for an international debut as well.
The Find X9s is anticipated to launch globally on the same day as the Ultra. While OPPO has yet to officially confirm the exact date for the global rollout, the event microsite and previous announcements strongly suggest April 21. The company had already announced the India launch of the Find X9s back in February during a MediaTek event, revealing that the phone will be powered by the Dimensity 9500s chipset.
This indicates a strategic division in offerings. The Find X9s Pro, expected to feature dual 200MP cameras, may be exclusive to China. In contrast, global markets are likely to receive the Find X9s, which will have a different camera configuration.
OPPO has teased the Find X9s in colors such as orange, light purple, and dark grey or black. The device features a square camera module akin to other models in the series, but it lacks the extended camera design found on the Pro variant.
On the front, the Find X9s is expected to sport a flat display with 1.15mm bezels. Both the Find X9s and the Pro model are likely to utilize LIPO packaging, which minimizes bezel thickness and enhances the edge-to-edge appearance of the screen.
The phone is confirmed to house a robust 7,025mAh battery, ensuring over a day’s usage under regular conditions. It is also expected to feature a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP main sensor, with the possibility of including a telephoto lens. Full pricing and specifications will be revealed at the launch event.
