Nothing Phone (4a) Certified for Global Launch, Expected by March 2026

The Nothing Phone (4a) has received certification on the UAE’s Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) platform, signalling an imminent launch in the region. The certification, issued on January 22, 2026, lists the device under model number A069 with equipment registration ER55923/06. While the listing confirms the device as a “smartphone,” it does not explicitly mention the Nothing Phone (4a) name or provide detailed specifications.

This development follows the model’s earlier appearance on the IMEI certification database in September 2025, confirming the phone’s rollout across multiple markets. Industry sources, including tipster Yogesh Brar, have indicated that the Nothing Phone (4a) series is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2026, with a likely announcement by March.

The model number A069 corresponds to the standard Phone (4a), while the A069B variant is expected to be the Phone (4a) Pro. This naming convention aligns with the pattern used for the previous Phone (3a) series.

Nothing is known for using Pokémon-themed codenames for its devices. Based on the model number, the Phone (4a) could be codenamed “Bellsprout,” which is Pokémon number 0069 in the Pokédex. The company may release teaser campaigns featuring Pokémon imagery ahead of the official launch.

According to leaked information from developer MlgmXyysd, the standard Phone (4a) will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, while the Pro model will feature the more advanced Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. These represent upgrades from the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processors used in the Phone (3a) series. Additionally, only the Pro variant is expected to support eSIM functionality.

Pricing estimates suggest the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage version of the Phone (4a) will cost around $475, with the Pro model priced at approximately $540. Both models are projected to be available in four colour options: Pink, White, Black, and Blue.

In addition to the smartphones, Nothing is reportedly developing budget-friendly headphones named Nothing Headphone (a). These will feature a plastic build and come in vibrant colours such as Pink and Yellow, alongside standard White and Black variants.
