Northern Railway to Run Special AC Train Between Saharsa and Anand Vihar Terminal

New Delhi, August 4 (H.S.) — In a move aimed at enhancing passenger convenience, Northern Railway will operate a special air-conditioned train between Saharsa Junction and Anand Vihar Terminal on a bi-weekly basis.

Northern Railway’s Chief Public Relations Officer, Himanshu Shekhar Upadhyay, announced on Monday that the special train (Train No. 05575/05576) will run for two trips in each direction. The train will depart Saharsa on August 6 and 13, while the return trips from Anand Vihar Terminal are scheduled for August 5 and 12.

Train Schedule and Route Details:

  • Train No. 05575 (Saharsa – Anand Vihar Terminal):

    • Departs Saharsa at 8:00 PM

    • Arrives Anand Vihar Terminal at 12:30 PM the next day

    • Stops at: Garh Baruwari, Supaul, Saraigarh, Nirmali, Ghoghardih, Jhanjharpur, Sakri, Darbhanga, Janakpur Road, Sitamarhi, Bairgania, Raxaul, Narkatiaganj, Bagaha, Kaptanganj, Gorakhpur, Basti, Gonda, Sitapur, Shahjahanpur, Bareilly, Moradabad, and Ghaziabad

  • Train No. 05576 (Anand Vihar Terminal – Saharsa):

    • Departs Anand Vihar Terminal at 5:15 AM

    • Arrives Saharsa Junction at 10:30 AM the next day

This fully air-conditioned train aims to provide passengers with a comfortable journey during the hot and humid monsoon season.

Northern Railway has also advised passengers to book their tickets in advance and adhere to COVID-19 protocols during travel.
