Greater Noida, April 7: In a significant police operation in the Dankaur area of Greater Noida, authorities apprehended a notorious criminal during an encounter. According to police reports, the suspect was found in possession of an illegal firearm, ammunition, and a motorcycle without a license plate.
The injured suspect has been admitted to a hospital for treatment. On April 6, 2026, police received a distress call via Dial-112 regarding a life-threatening attack on a local resident, Qasim (approximately 48 years old), by a man named Kaide Azam while he was working in the fields.
It was reported that after a verbal altercation, the accused shot Qasim with a country-made pistol and fled the scene. Qasim was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where he is currently receiving medical care. Given the seriousness of the incident, the Dankaur police quickly registered a case and formed multiple teams to apprehend the suspect.
