Noida Mans Fake Shooting Plot to Frame Neighbor Uncovered by Police

A man in Noida orchestrated a fake shooting to frame his neighbor, leading to arrests and the discovery of key evidence.

Noida, November 2 (Daily Kiran) : Gautam Buddha Nagar police revealed a shocking scheme on Monday involving a resident of Greater Noida who attempted to frame his neighbor in a false shooting incident. This plot stemmed from a longstanding feud between the two men.

The Dadri police uncovered the conspiracy and arrested three suspects. Authorities seized a homemade pistol, two live cartridges, a CP Plus DVR, and a motorcycle used in the crime.

During the investigation, police discovered how the accused had plotted the shooting as an act of revenge against the victim, stemming from a dispute nearly a year prior. The accused, identified as Harendra Nagar, allegedly orchestrated the incident with the help of relatives and others to falsely implicate his neighbor, Vikas Sain.

According to police, Harendra Nagar meticulously planned the scheme with five accomplices. Their goal was to leverage their previous conflict to frame Sain for a serious crime and ensure his imprisonment. Nagar called his associates, Atul Bhati and Kalua, to his home, where they staged the shooting in front of a CCTV camera.

After staging the event, Nagar filed a false complaint against Sain at the Dadri police station. However, as the investigation unfolded, numerous inconsistencies emerged.

Police gathered crucial evidence linking the suspects to the plot, including CCTV footage and other materials. The arrested individuals were identified as Pratik alias Kalua (26) from Kurikheda village, Atul Bhati (29) from Sakipur, and Abhishek Nagar (25) from Nyadar Ganj.

Authorities indicated that Kalua is the nephew of Harendra Nagar, Bhati is his brother-in-law, and Abhishek is his son. All three face charges related to the conspiracy. Police also recovered a .315 bore homemade gun and two live cartridges from the suspects.
