Nissan Magnite Crosses 2 Lakh Sales Milestone Globally, Drives Strong Growth in India

Magnite
Nissan’s popular compact SUV, the Magnite, has recorded a major global sales milestone, surpassing 2 lakh units sold worldwide since its debut in late 2020. This achievement highlights the SUV’s strong appeal across multiple markets and affirms Nissan’s global product vision — “One Car, One World.”

With a presence in over 65 countries, including both right-hand and left-hand drive regions, the Magnite continues to receive praise for its combination of design, performance, and affordability, making it a key contributor to Nissan’s success.

Designed for the Global Consumer

The Nissan Magnite’s cabin is tailored for modern urban families, offering a driver-centric layout with comfort and functionality at its core. The interior design emphasizes smart space utilization without sacrificing aesthetics. With an international design language and a wide feature set, the SUV appeals to customers across continents — from India to Africa, Southeast Asia, and Latin America.

Packed With Best-in-Class Features

What sets the Magnite apart is its over 20 segment-first features, including advanced infotainment, wireless connectivity, and customizable driving modes. Additionally, the SUV is equipped with more than 55 safety features, reinforcing its appeal to safety-conscious buyers.

From LED DRLs and 360-degree cameras to hill start assist and vehicle dynamic control (VDC), the Magnite blends bold design with modern technology — offering more than what most compact SUVs in its price segment typically deliver.

Record-Breaking Performance in FY24–25

Nissan Motor India’s Managing Director, Saurabh Vatsa, credited the Magnite for the company’s highest annual sales figures in seven years. During FY 2024–25, Nissan sold over 99,000 vehicles, with the Magnite alone accounting for over 28,000 domestic sales and 71,000 exports.

The Magnite has now cemented its place as a top export model for Nissan India and remains a key growth driver in the competitive compact SUV segment.

New CNG Option Introduced

In a bid to cater to environmentally conscious and budget-focused consumers, Nissan has also introduced a CNG retrofitment kit for the Magnite. The kit, developed by Motozen and approved by government authorities, is priced at ₹74,999.

It is compatible with the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and can be fitted at authorized centers. With this, Nissan opens a new avenue for buyers looking for economical long-term running costs without compromising on performance or features.

Looking Ahead

With its global footprint expanding and its position in the Indian market growing stronger, the Nissan Magnite is redefining value in the compact SUV space. Backed by its aggressive pricing, stylish design, strong safety credentials, and export success, it continues to be one of Nissan’s most strategically important models.
