The initial four matches of the T20 series between New Zealand and South Africa have been filled with ups and downs, resulting in notable shifts in player rankings due to their performances.

Experienced fast bowler Lockie Ferguson has benefited the most from this series. He delivered a match-winning spell in Auckland, taking one wicket for just nine runs, earning him the ‘Player of the Match’ title. This performance propelled him 12 spots up to 39th place. His teammate Ben Sears climbed 20 positions to reach 59th. Kyle Jamieson made a five-place jump to 76th, while Jacob Duffy rose eight spots to 81st.

South African bowlers also saw improvements in their rankings. Keshav Maharaj moved up five places to 47th, while his teammate Ottniel Bartman climbed seven spots to 66th. Gerald Coetzee surged 46 places to secure the 88th position.

In the all-rounders category, George Linde contributed significantly with both bat and ball, moving up one spot to 22nd. Sikandar Raza maintained his top position in the T20 all-rounder rankings.

In batting, India’s Abhishek Sharma remains at the top of the T20 rankings, currently ahead of compatriot Ishan Kishan.
