New Chief Minister of Bihar to Be Under Nitish Kumars Leadership, Says Union Minister Giriraj Singh

Patna, March 28: Bihar’s Chief Minister Nitish Kumar may soon resign from his position. Meanwhile, discussions about a new chief minister have intensified. Union Minister Giriraj Singh clarified on Saturday that the new chief minister will be appointed under Nitish Kumar’s leadership.

Speaking to reporters, Singh stated, “There will not be a new government in Bihar. The NDA government is still in power, and Nitish Kumar remains the chief minister. Any new chief minister will be appointed under the current chief minister’s leadership.”

He praised Prime Minister Modi’s recent meeting with state chief ministers amid ongoing crises in the Middle East, saying, “The Prime Minister discussed the current national and global situations with all chief ministers. This reality must be acknowledged by everyone. However, the TMC does not respect federalism and law. Mamata Banerjee considers herself the Prime Minister of Bengal, not just the chief minister. She prioritizes her votes over the nation, even if it means Bengal becomes like Bangladesh. This is her mindset.”

Addressing the gas and fuel crisis, Singh remarked, “People must accept the truth that we rely on foreign nations for certain resources. We do not have complete oil or gas production. There should be no objection to acknowledging this reality. There is a country in the world that does not use LPG gas and operates solely on electricity. I have been using solar power and induction cooking for five years. People need to shift towards alternative solutions and think critically. This country belongs to everyone, and we must collectively find solutions to our problems.”

Targeting the Congress party, the BJP leader said, “Everyone knows how ticket distribution happens within Congress. It’s not a distribution; it’s a sale of tickets. Many parties boast off the record that they will leave the party, which is not the language of democracy.”
